Welcome, Friends!

What to Expect:
1. Retreat Intention and Scope
Radiant Heart Yoga retreats are designed to offer an immersive experience centered around yoga, mindfulness, rest, creativity, culture, and connection. My hope is that guests leave feeling refreshed, grounded, inspired, and more connected to themselves and the world around them.
Retreats naturally invite us to slow down, step outside of routine, and engage more deeply with new places and perspectives. Traveling internationally can also bring moments of unfamiliarity, from language barriers to different foods, customs, and daily rhythms – and guests are encouraged to arrive with flexibility, curiosity, and an open mind. Often, these experiences become some of the most meaningful parts of the journey.
While retreats can be deeply supportive and restorative, they are not therapy, medical treatment, or private vacations. Guests are responsible for participating in a respectful and self-aware way within the group environment.
Guests understand that participation in yoga, movement classes, workshops, excursions, breathwork, meditation, and other retreat activities is voluntary.
Guests agree to listen to their bodies, honor personal limits, and communicate any concerns, injuries, or health conditions to retreat staff.
Guests assume full responsibility for their own physical, emotional, and mental well-being throughout the retreat.
2. Participation + Personal Responsibility
Radiant Heart Yoga is committed to creating an environment rooted in respect, inclusivity, care, and mindfulness.
By attending this retreat, guests agree to:
Treat fellow participants, staff, local communities, and property with respect
Participate with openness and consideration
Respect personal boundaries and consent
Honor shared spaces and communal experiences
Refrain from excessive intoxication or behavior that negatively impacts the group environment
The retreat team reserves the right to ask any participant to leave the retreat without refund if their behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or incompatible with the retreat environment.
3. Community Expectations
Yoga, movement practices, excursions, and wellness activities involve inherent physical risks.
By participating, guests acknowledge that they understand these risks and voluntarily assume responsibility for any injury, illness, loss, or damages that may occur.
Guests are encouraged to consult a healthcare provider before participating if they have concerns about physical activity.
4. Physical Activity Disclaimer
Guests are responsible for arranging their own:
Flights and transportation unless otherwise specified
Travel documentation
Medical needs and medications
Travel insurance
We strongly encourage all participants to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations, delays, illness, injury, and unexpected emergencies.
5. Travel + Insurance
Radiant Heart Yoga values clarity, commitment, and thoughtful planning around each retreat experience. Because retreat spaces are limited and require advance coordination, staffing, and preparation, I maintain the following cancellation policy without exception:
Cancellations made more than 5 months before the retreat receive a full refund minus the $900 deposit
Cancellations made more than 3 months before the retreat receive a 50% refund minus the $900 deposit
Cancellations made within 3 months of the retreat: no refunds available
6. Payment + Cancellation Policy
During the retreat, photos or videos may be captured for promotional or community purposes.
We will do our best to honor all preferences, and you may opt out, if desired.
7. Photography + Media Release

Retreat Teacher/Facilitator
Chris Morehead
Chris came to yoga through personal struggle, discovering in his practice a way to sit with the fears and insecurities he once tried to outrun. After finding home at Zen Yoga Garage in Chicago, he earned his 200-hour certification there and later completed his 300-hour training with Meghan Currie in the Nicaraguan jungle, an experience that deeply shaped his path.
Now a 500+ hour E-RYT, Chris teaches vinyasa-inspired movement alongside yin and restorative yoga. With a background in circus arts and contortion, he weaves creativity and expression into purposeful, alignment-focused classes that blend longer holds, breath-conscious flow, and playful inversions.
Above all, he hopes you return home from a Radiant Heart Yoga retreat with a lighter heart, a deeper connection to yourself, and maybe a few laughs. His classes are thoughtfully challenging yet accessible, designed to create length in the body and connection to your soul. As one student put it, “Chris makes me feel my feelings! And I love it.”
